STILETTO is a large
scale-like sport
rocket with a 66mm "Host Mount-tm"! "Interchange Mounts-tm" allow
you to prepare
several interchange mounts™ in advance of a launch and
change them quickly
when at the flying field. The kit includes mounts for 4x 24mm, 1x 38mm, and 1x
29mm.
Available separately are 1x 54mm and 3x 29mm ($9.95 each). Stiletto utilizes a
reducer
section in the
middle for increased dynamic stability and a unique five fin
configuration for
high static stability. The result is a great flying machine. One

Rockets' favorite rockets! The motor combinations are endless.
Try G60-4, H80-8,
H160-8, (4) E25-4, G35-8 or 38mm H110-8. STILETTO was originally
designed and specified to address
the needs of rocketeers with primarilly model rocket
construction skills but with a need for a rocket which
could
withstand the growing power requirements of MR and HPR
in the E, F, G, H, I, J power. Extra
high strength components throughout facilitate flights
over Mach 1 despite the
large size and helps to withstand hard landings.

STILETTO
can be slightly modified to
accept new dual deployment systems and altimiters. The payload
can be deployed on both sides of
the coupler or both sides of the payload tube. It flies
surprisingly well on 4 24mm D12-5 or E12-4.
Best flights are with USR F80-4 or G60-4. STILETTO has been
successfully tested with
as
high of
power as J125-8 and as high
thrust
as 3 H240-8. It was originally
designed and specified to address
the needs of rocketeers with primarilly model rocket
construction skills.
The tubes are over twice as thick as conventional
model rocket tubes, yet the tubes are constructed of
the same very high specification materials as model
rocket tubing, which itself is the finest in the
world. Other features include the use of a
TRADITIONAL but LARGE
balsa wood nose cone, hailed as the best
in the industry. Its very strong and lightweight construction
makes
it fly surprisingly high
compared
