STAR
is a simple high power sport model. Featuring surface
fin attach, streamer recovery and sounding rocket styling.
STAR has a giant size and flys straight and true. Even the
highest power motors are for STAR. Whether you are flying
for fun or for competition, STAR is your 'standard' vehicle
of choice. Try D12-6, D24-8, E25-8, E50-8, F25-8, G35-8 for
fast and high flights. The primary motor mount is 29mm and
it has a 24mm conversion mount included. STAR has 1/4"
launch lugs but can be flown from conventional launch pads
with 1/8" launch rods with motor power D and E.

| STAR
can be slightly modified to
accept new dual deployment systems and altimiters. The top tube
can be converted into a payload
which can be deployed on both sides of
the coupler or both sides of the payload tube. Its stable
design makes it suitable for
drop-staging (CHAD) and for affixing glider mounts for test
flights of those competition
gliders.
This rocket is recomended for schools, recreation programs and
science work. It can fly on as
little as C6-3 and flies surprisingly well on D12-5 or D12-0 to
D12-5. Best flights are with
USR
F25-8. STAR has been successfully tested with as high of
power as J160-12 and as high
thrust
as H320-12. Its very strong and lightweight construction makes
it fly surprisingly high
compared
