SONIC 100 PHENOLIC is a
24mm motor
convolute wound paper phenolic airframe rocket with ply fins for minimal diameter
operations. Phenolic is lower mass than fiberglass, thus improving maximum
velocity for a given motor. Minimum recommended motor is H100-12-WS but
some wimps will
fly it on as little as D12-8. No really, somebody will.
High altitude is
one thing but when you can do it with no required FAA
wavier you know you
have accomplished something elegant and sophisticated in
