BERLINETTA

BERLINETTA is a large
fantasy sport
rocket with a versitile cluster mount combination. Berlinetta
utilizes long
transfer tubes to guide ejection gases to the upper section. The
wonderfully
appealing design is even better on display as the wicked flights
are in the air.
Extra time is required in assembly to achieve perfection of the
shrouded base
cone. Try (4) E25-4, D12-3, (3) F20-8, G30-8 or (1) F80-4,
G60-4, H60-8. It is an excellent
display piece as well
as a fun and easy flier. The large size and moderate power
capability allow
BERLINETTA to be flown in athletic size fields with F80-4 or
G60-4
motors. Try
H80-4. BERLINETTA was originally
designed and specified to address
the needs of rocketeers with primarilly model rocket
construction skills but with a need for a rocket which
could
withstand the growing power requirements of MR and HPR
in the F, G, H power. The
two supplementary 29mm mounts
accept
motors E to H as well as interchange mounts for 24mm. These
allow extra smoke effects or dual thrust effects without active
ejection.
This kit uses BALSA fins and thinner airframe tubes than some of
our kits to make BERLINETTA a superior flyer on even fairly low
power motors!
