AERO-ROC

AERO-ROC is the basic high power capable sport model of choice for advanced rocketeers. It features parachute recovery and giant payload section for Astrocam 110 camera(s) or other payloads. The main motor mount accepts 29mm (1.125") motors and the kit includes a conversion mount for 24mm (0.94") motors. Try 24mm D12-5, E25-4, F25-8, G35-8 or 29mm F20-8, F40-8, G30-8, G60-8, H60-8.

Definition Of Terms

AERO-ROC can be slightly modified to accept new dual deployment systems and altimeters. The payload can be deployed on both sides of the coupler or both sides of the payload tube. Its stable design makes it suitable for drop-staging (CHAD) and for affixing glider mounts for test flights of those competition gliders. This rocket is recomended for schools, recreation programs and science work. It can fly on as little as C6-3 and flies surprisingly well on D12-5 or D12-0 to D12-5. Best flights are with USR F20-8. Aero-Roc has been successfully tested with as high of power as J160-12 and as high thrust as H320-12. Its very strong and lightweight construction makes it fly surprisingly high compared to other rocket kit brands. Test it for yourself!
