All Basic Model Rocket Series 2 rocket kits are simple but very high performance model rockets designed specifically for both common black powder motors and the revolutionary D-G class composite propellant motors. Complete compatibility with all standard motor sizes allow these rockets to be flown with any available rocket motors. Construction is simple and the tools required are available in hardware and hobby stores. Alphatic resin type wood glue or epoxy may be used for bonding the parts together. Fine 320 grit and medium 120 grit sandpaper are used to shape the fin airfoil and to sand the sealer prior to painting. Enamel paint is used for easy and quality finishing. You may fly these rockets from common launch systems and pads. U.S. Rockets recommends the use of heavy duty launch pads and rods when flying with F and G type motors. As with all U.S. Rockets kits, any length motor may be used due to the use of an ingenious method of motor installation. A masking tape thrust ring is wrapped on the nozzle end of the motor and once in place, the motor is held in place by a band of tape over the thrust ring and motor mount tube end. SONIC SERIES contains high performance model rockets which are both very easy to build and fun to fly. SCREAMER is a basic minimal diameter 29mm motor rocket which offers excellent stability and premium performance for both sport and payload missions. As the name implies, this vehicle really moves and is capable of supersonic speeds! As with other BMR2 rocket kits, it flys over Mach 1 and 6000 feet with your choice of C to H class motors. EL LUBBO was released soon after U.S. Rockets was founded before four inch nose cones were available in quantity. We designed this kit to use our advanced "Integrated Tube"-tm shroud method on both the reducer section as is customary, but also on the nose cone. F-DART F DART includes two gliders which can be flown with 24mm motors using the power pods included in the kit. As an option, one or more F Darts may be attached to the side of a large booster rocket in "parasite mode". Good examples are Aero-Roc with one F Dart or Mega-Roc with two F Darts. Since the wings act like rocket fins during boost, it is necessary to mount the gliders near the tail end of the booster. At apogee the glider falls off the side hook and transitions to a glide.
